Do you use Microsoft Outlook?

If you want to import a list of all 2008 regattas into your calendar, you can save yourself a lot of typing by downloading this file.
It contains all the dates from the SARA site (all Scottish Regattas and some major National or International events).

I have included instructions for doing this - it is easier to do than to describe!

Instructions for importing into MS Outlook

Unfortunately, security updates from Microsoft mean that I have had to send this file as a compressed "zip" file. This adds an additional level of complexity to the procedure. To use it, you will have to convert it into the appropriate "pst" file by using Winzip or a similar program. This may already be installed on your computer. If this does not work - email me and I will be happy to send you a copy of the "pst" file by email (I hope that security measures allow it by that route!)

(1) Downloading the "zip" file and converting it into a "pst" file

First download a copy of the above file by right clicking the name and choosing "save target as".

Double click the regatta_dates_2008 pst.zip file on your computer and (as long as you have suitable software) it should write a new file called regattas2008.pst - note where this file is saved as you will need to navigate to it later.

(2) Importing the "pst" file into Outlook

From the File menu in MS Outlook select “Import & Export”

Select “Import from another program or file”

Select “Import Personal Folders file (.PST)"

Browse to the file “regattas2008.pst”

Select the radio button “do not import duplicates”

Select Next

Select Finish
